Coconut Oil Tips for Hair and Skin Care

I have tried cold-pressed coconut oil that is packaged in jars. This product has been used as a moisturizer, hair conditioner, and make-up remover for quite some time.

These natural options are my first choice always. Coconut oil has been very good for my skin. You can also buy Cold-Pressed, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil at Ostro-Organics.

These are just a few of the many uses for coconut oil that I have found.

Skin Moisturizer

A) Use a cotton Q-tip to dip it in the jar then "scoop up" some of it and apply it to the skin after cleansing thoroughly.  Then apply the cream to the skin and neck using fingers. It smells amazing! Although it feels a bit greasy, it is very healthy.

B) You can also apply some to your neck, arms, and legs using a cotton pad. Then wait 15 minutes.

C) Next, go into the shower to use a loofah sponge or washcloth with some natural tea tree oil soap.

D) After results are freshly moisturized skin!

Hair Conditioner

If your hair is extremely dry or damaged, you can apply a little bit of oil to the hair. Apply the oil to the affected areas. It usually takes about 15 minutes to finish.

Makeup Remover

A) It is always a challenge to remove eye makeup, even with the best make-up wipes and soaps. I use a cotton swab to apply some coconut oil to my eyes and gently circle them.

B)  You can use a cotton pad to remove any makeup left behind.

These tips were as enjoyable as they were for me!
