Those aching for a good, modern Ninja Turtles game have one more chance at vindication. Activision has just announced their rumored Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game based on the Nickelodeon series, TMNT: Out of the Shadows.
The trailer announcing the game shows third-person beat-em-up gameplay and hyper-realistic graphics -- a departure from the cartoon series it's based on. If the game is well-received, it will be the first good (and original) TMNT game since the SNES classic Turtles in Time, after the fairly well anticipated Wii exclusive Smash-Up disappointed fans and gamers.
The download-only release is slated for this summer.
